The series
Metamorphosis.exe is a log file of a year. From the first inner light in awakening.exe, through the moment when the human disappears in human_not_found.exe, to the quiet circle in restart.exe.
Each animal carries one state of mind. Not a task. Not a goal. A condition — named, photographed, and placed in sequence so that you may recognize yourself somewhere along the way.
Twelve files. Twelve states. One year of being alive.

Where have we gone? The system awaits the operator.
The silence is loud.

Every photograph in this cycle carries a name that a computer would recognize — and a human would feel.
awakening.exe. bloom.exe. human_not_found.exe. restart.exe.
These are not poetic titles. They are diagnostic reports. States that run in the background of every life, whether we name them or not. The animals do not perform these states. They simply are them — with the complete, unselfconscious honesty that only they possess.
The pulse does not stop. It simply changes rhythm.
